Detours is a self guided walking tour of site specific installation art by 15 local and national artists will be installed in Tahoe City, and promises be the highlight of the many summer activities located in beautiful North Lake Tahoe. Detours: Tahoe City 2011, is a similar project that has taken place in Los Angeles, Santa Monica and Venice, California with much acclaim.

An opening celebration will take place at North Tahoe Arts located at 380 N. Lake Blvd., Tahoe City, CA. 96145. The date and time of the Opening is Friday, August 5th, 2011 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. The exhibit will be up through August and September 2011.
